Baltimore City Police are the worst bunch of rude, careless, incompetents I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. It's no wonder the murder rate keeps increasing. I am so sick and tired of the way they treat honest, hard working, non threatening, tax paying citizens. They make no distinction between Soccer Mom and Crack Head, we are all trash to them.

I think they should have said some Baltimore city police. You have to admit some of them are mean and rude like they hate their jobs. But for every bad cop there is a good one.

This thread reminds me of people who won't move out of the way for ambulances and fire trucks. It's easy to sit and complain, but God forbid something should ever happen to you or someone in your family.
Being a cop is a pretty thankless job most of the time, and *again* I feel bad for the good ones who have to read this mindless drivel and then go out to work. What are you doing to make this city safer? |

My story...
Listening to a prisoner claim he was going to sue the police department for "police brutality" when they did was hit him with an asp when he was threatening them with a knife... They were well within their rights to shoot the guy. Instead, he only had a broken arm. And the person that called 911 originally? She's sitting there screaming at the cops for doing it also... Or the people that call 911 for police, and when the cop shows up, the person starts yelling at them for coming "so slow". Never mind that you called because your grill / bicycle / whatever was stolen when you left it out and unlocked, and the cops were busy with stuff like shootings, robberies, vehicle accidents, etc. |

Perhaps you should try a ride-along w/ the Baltimore City Police to see what they put up with during their shift. Everyone has a problem that is someone else's fault. The people that make up this society do not take responsibility for their actions. I encounter the same people that the police do regularly at my place of employment. I am just suggesting that you walk with them in their shoes and perhaps you would begin to understand why they don't treat people as nice as you believe that they should.

I was talking to a cop at the Home Depot near Patterson High on the east side of the city and he told me the response time for a crime in the Madison area, was something absurd like 12-15 minutes.
