Well, I guess I'll keep looking at WM and Joppa.
What's disappointing? You're not moving there because the mall is dead and a couple of people think the Red Lobster sucks?

Prior experience has taught me to stay clear of areas with questionable Red Lobster's. I considered once buying a condo near Arundel Mills Mall but after waiting nearly 30 minutes to get seated on a busy Saturday night and having my lobster come out cold, I knew immediately that the area around the mall would not be a good place to raise a family.

They're apartments near the metro/subway. They're really nice.

Also update: the Fractured Prune opened yesterday!

To be honest, I never had any problems there either. Maybe I just lucked out and never went there at the same time as the ghetto crowd. haha

I've only passed through Owings Mills. I guess it's okay. I had a girlfriend who lived in one of the apartments by Sam's Club. I was assumed the apartments near the mall were crazy expensive, for some reason. Shame the mall is dead, though. I remember when it was poppin'.

Yes, the mall is depressing. I've been mad ever since the Cinnabon closed.

Having said that, I like living in Owings Mills. It could use some improvement, but I don't think it's a bad place to live.

That's not what she said. This is what she said:

However, do you think that your own description of a slice of Owings Mills life is going to improve whatever opinion she might have of black people?
