Real estate pimping on this board (title, MLS, area)

I feel that the following question must be discussed before things get out of hand.
When a real estate agent with 10 posts uses this board only to pimp her availability and services without any discussion of the topics raised, I fear we are on a slippery road on this board.
How do you feel about this?
A couple of financial sites that I use have become totally useless because spammers are pimping stocks and services on those sites. I would hate to see this happen here.
I personally welcome any real estate agent's participation in substantive discussions. But if such posts are only plugs for a certain firm, they ought not to be allowed.
Here is what the rules of this site state about this practice:
Real Estate Agents and other businesses will not advertise their services nor solicit business in their posts. Create a free business profile by going to http://www.city-data.com/profiles/add and fill out your forum profile instead. Do not include links to your websites, MLS listings, etc. in your posts. Do not try to push the envelope by attempting to hide your intentions. Do not solicit business by PMs. Show your knowledge about the area and help people and you will get leads naturally. Real estate agents should join the usergroup for them here: http://www.city-data.com/forum/profi...editusergroups. It will set your user title and add an icon next to your name, so you will get free advertising with your posts.

I agree.....I don't care if that person wants to have one thread...and she can keep bumping it to the top..advertising her business. But to have it in every thread is a bit too much.

You can report those as spam/advertising by clicking on the red and white symbol to the far right of the poster's name...right above where it says "Join Date".
