Default Are there any Lakes or Waterways for Water Skiing/Water Activities in Maryland?!

Hello! I am considering a move to Maryland in the next year (from Pennsylvania). I have grown up water skiing on lakes and rivers near me and would like to continue being able to do that when/if I move. I have gotten the idea there is even more to offer in Maryland than my area but I was wondering if anyone can help me on specific places for water recreation. I am looking mostly between Baltimore and D.C. (Probably Anne Arundel, Howard, Baltimore, or Montgomery Counties). Any help with specific lakes/rivers perfect for boats and skiing would be great! I'd love to live as close to an area like this as possible. Also, I was told there are some waterways that are highly polluted that I should stay away from (though I frequent the Delaware River near here and that doesn't seem very clean sometimes...) so any info on that would be appreciated as well. Thank you!

There are a few places I'm sure. Some of my coworkers go tubing but I can't recall where and you can probably check out the Galesville, MD area.
