Anyone go last year? Going this year?

I would like to go this year but I'm not sure what to expect. I got the email from the Orioles stating how things work, but I'm a little foggy on how the experience is (or maybe I'm over-analyzing).

If I'm reading correctly everyone pays to get in, but if you want an "autograph session" you pay an additional fee. I'm fine with that, but what's an "autograph session"? Is it a set time? Are all of the players signing for all of the sessions?

The email also said that kids have a separate autograph session. Is that in addition to the paid ones? Is it during the same time?

I'd like to make the trek up to Baltimore, but don't want a dejected son because it wasn't what we thought it was. Anyone who has gone in the past, if you could give your recommendations I would appreciate it!

Thanks in advance.

Haven't been since '93 but I have friends who bring their kids and they seem to like it.

Last time I've gone, which was several years ago, you pay to get in but you don't specifically need to pay for autographs. This is at least how it was back in 2004, 2005, etc. Not sure how they are now. I might stop by too if I'm free. Its usually a good time though...lots of stuff to do and see beyond autographs. It would be cool too to take your son on a tour of Camden Yards...I went on a tour with my dad back in the day during FanFest and I remember being totally pumped about sitting in the dugout and seeing the O's training room/clubhouse etc. I say go for it. Also plenty of cool spots to check out in Charm City that they might not have down in the Carolinas.

I'm sure your son will enjoy it... if he doesn't there is always the Aquarium/Science Center bailout!

Yeah we've come up to Baltimore a few times for some Orioles games. We've always had a great time.

I'll probably give it a shot, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
