Default Foxy, deer Baltimore

We live on half an acre in the city near the Western Run, just north of Mount Washington. This morning I looked out of the kitchen window to see three young and gorgeous looking red foxes cavorting on my front lawn.
A year ago, just before 6 a.m., two deer were in front of the house.
We see foxes often, but that's my only sighting of deer so far.
Awesome.

Girlfriday, there are plenty of positive things about Charm City if you walk around with your eyes open...an open mind helps, too. :-)

Default U have to be postive

Balt is the only area around here that people can get affordable homes.
You have to take a chance and choose wisely. You will read one thing good one thing bad about an area. When someone moves from one city to another it is not the same thing as moving within the city you were raised in.
I saw a house listed in DC ! for $135K !! in zip 20019...Deanwood...you cannot be that even in Deanwood.

We have deer in the tiny plot of woods near our condo in the older section of Owings Mills. 2 weeks ago I saw a mother and her two half grown fawns. The week before my very elderly dog and I saw a single deer that just stared at us for a few minutes as we lightly moved around the grassy area.

This is why we want an acre or two if possible... space and woodland friends!
