Hello,

I will start workig at Johns Hopkins Hospital in September and looking for a good convenient apartment to rent in a safe neighborhood. I don't mind a studio or one bed. I prefer to take the shuttle or subway to work, but will need parking and gym also. I appreciate your input and help.

Many thanks.

I would check out Mt. Vernon, Canton and Fells Point. Craigslist is a good place to start looking.

Is price an option? Also, what type of clinician will you be hired as? Some nursing staff have a rotating schedule, which might make it a bit more difficult. Hopkins has alot of shuttles around the city.

I have linked the JHMI shuttle website:

JHMI to Homewood Shuttle

I believe that living in Charles Village or Mt Vernon would be great experience.

I wouldn't even bother with the train unless I decided to move all the way out to Owings Mills.

Here's a map of the train stops.
