was there ever work done that documents the racial history of Penn Station at all? if not that, then maybe images of black bag carriers, etc pre-1960s and so forth?
I am looking all over the internet for it. Does anyone know if the library would have any references?

Your best resources for this are going to be the library (the central one), Morgan State, and the Reginald F Lewis museum. Perhaps also the B&O railroad museum, even though that was a different railroad. Good luck.

You might also try to locate the leading researcher of the Pullman porter era. I have read two books on Pullman porters; they are unlikely to help you. But if you google, you should be able to find out who has the best collection of Pullman porter and A. Phillip Randolph material.
