Hi All,

I saw some ads for purchasing condos at 234 Holliday St and 414 Water St. Both had properties in the buildings that had been foreclosed. I was wondering whether there were problems with either development that had caused the devaluation, or whether anyone had experience living there?

Thanks!

I'd be curious to know the present ocupancy rate at Water Street.

Water St was built at the height of the crash... Which is why there are foreclosures. Not a ton to do right there unless you love Power Plant Live or the Inner Harbor, but it's an easy walk to Little Italy and Harbor East. There will also be a residential renaissance downtown in the next few years which will lead to a lot more retail.

I believe the Holliday St condos were also sold during the height of the crash. I know a tenant there. Nothing wrong with the building. All of the tenants tend to be upper middle class. They just bought at the wrong time.

414 Water: I wouldn't want to be so close to that trash on Baltimore st. You might have to end-up passing by those clubs every night after a long day's work; I say no, but that's just me.
