To the OP, stay far away from that motel, unless you're looking for prostitutes and/or drugs. That place has a rep and was run down for a number of years. Renovation does nothing for it.

How has the place improved since it has become a Motel6 is the real question. I know that the area around it is improving, so hopefully, the clientele of that motel has also.

I am certain it must have. Just looking at the place, and the increase in the price of a room ... it is no longer strictly a den of iniquity.

Yes, this is a good area. In fact it's located by some good restaurants and a nice artistic college MICA.
