Every city is different, I was hoping people here could enlighten me. I'm looking to rent an apartment somewhere outside of the city, maybe like Glen burnie, or ellicott city or somewhere nearby either of those. What are move in fees like? I mean, in some cities they give you the first month free just to move in, others you need to pay two months rent and a $900 deposit. So which is it? I'm looking to rent a 2 bd for around 1000-1100.

A lot of the incentives apartment communities offer are based upon their occupancy rates, so this will vary from place to place. As far as security deposits or a request for first and last months rent, often times your credit/background check will determine what they would like to see from you. Almost all communities require at least one month security deposit in this area. Good luck!
