To be honest there ARE problems in Baltimore
City but a wound does not heal by throwing
salt into it.
How about gun powder ?

The writer of the article doesn't understand what Black Power entails. Begging the white man's gubment for things is not an adequate display of Black Power. Lol!

"His powerful negro allies"
Just curious, IH77, when did you grow up?

Interesting, I originally thought IH77 was white.

What we need is to find a better way to keep drugs out of this city, but it seems Rawlings-Blake and other politicians are too corrupt to fix things here.

I hope Baltimoreans vote in 2016.

I posted a comment in another thread about the former NAACP President running for Mayor of Baltimore as an Independent.. or at least others are encouraging him to do so... as a Counter to Sheila Dixon. The Powers that be that are likely represented by affluent blacks and whites in the City along with career politicos likely are skeptical of the outcome of a Mayor Dixon given her conviction. Unlike DC and Marion Barry Baltimore may not weather the criticism as well....given all of our challenges....

It doesn't help that the police department is in hot water.

Sheila Dixon... the worst candidate, except all the others! Catchy, huh?

Seriously, someone needs to make a compelling case that they will be better.

In that case, I'm looking forward to the debates.
