Hello all,

I am so torn right now. My 4-year-old just got accepted to Calvert for next year! I am so proud of him. I'm torn because our zone school is Roland Park and it's supposed to be a great school. Private school was not on my radar but decided to apply so that I can have a couple of good options. I REALLY LOVE Calvert! I also like the idea of my son going to RP. I want to hear from RP parents as well as Calvert parents. Is RP worth not succumbing to Calvert's price tag? They are giving aid but I like the idea of paying 0 dollars.

These things are important to me

1- Strong Academics
2- Nurturing Social Environment
3- Great physical space (lighting, desk space, classroom size, playground, etc)
4- Great food environment ( healthy foods offered, diverse, nice and clean space)
5.- Sports
6- Strong in classics, literature, foreign language, STEM and art

Help because I have to make my decision soon!

Is this post some kind of joke? If you want to save money, send your kid to that hellhole on Roland Avenue. If you want your kid to get a good education and be properly socialized, send him to Calvert.
