Job doing medical record scanning
I am looking to find a job doing data entry or medical record scanning that would be a contractural position because of having to take care of a sick family member. I cannot work every day, but most days I can work numerous hours, just not the straight 9-5 day. I am aware that most physician offices are going over to computer charts, and everything has to be taken out of the "paper chart", scanned, and placed in the correct place so the physician can pull up lab work, referrals, x-rays, etc. Does anyone know who I may contact to find such a job? I wouldn't mind working for different doctors as short or long-term assignments. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Anywhere in Baltimore City or outlying counties would be fine as I have transportation.
