I just got a job as a flight attendant flying out of BWI Airport. Does anyone know of a safe, good priced studio apartment? I would appreciate any help.

Post in the Maryland Board. Your work is in Anne Arundel County . It might help since you probably do not want to live in Baltimore. Its appx. at least a 45 minute drive depending where you are at and with traffic to BWI..jmo

You should be a bit clearer with your preferences. Do you prefer a city or suburban setting. That will help folks when advising you. |

You might want to check out the neighborhoods of Ferndale and Linthicum. You won't find many apartment buildings there, but there are a number of old houses that rent out apartment space. Craigslist would be a good place to start for that. If you're looking for more of an apartment complex atmosphere, you might get lucky in Glen Burnie. All of those areas are pretty close to the airport. Oh, and to the person who said living in Baltimore will be at least 45 minutes from the airport, I live in Baltimore and work right next to the airport and it's 13 minutes door-to-door. I'm very close to 295, though. |

If you're interested in city living, you might want to look at somewhere in Baltimore within walking distance of the light rail. Even though it's typically slower than driving, you would have a direct connection to the airport without having to leave your car in an airport parking lot. Do airlines provide employee parking? Just curious.

Flight attendant, what area of the city are you looking to live? Is this for short or long term? How much are you expecting to pay?

Thanks everyone. I did find a great place in Glen Burnie. I appreciate your help.
