My brother is coming for a visit and would like to have some Maryland blue crab. Since I'm fairly new to the area, I'm not sure where to go. Does anyone have recommendations for a crab house, especially if we can sit outside near the water? Thanks.

Cantlers in Annapolis has good crabs. It is on the water, but not that picturesque.

You might also head over to St. Michaels. Good crab houses over there. I'm sorry I can't help you with Baltimore. But I bet someone else can.

Jimmy's Famous Seafood on Holabird Ave in Dundalk has good crabs.

Nicks Fish House is another option if you are closer to Federal Hill /South Baltimore and want a water ambiance since they are next to a marina, although I think they are over priced.

Default Thanks.

Hey, thanks! I was at a stoop party in our neighborhood last night, and a long time Baltimorean suggested Nick's Fish House, too. I think this is the place I'm looking for. Since I grew up in Maine, I like it that they offer a steam pot with Maine lobster....
