Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum. I'm originally from Baltimore. I had no idea they did some remodeling downtown. When I come to town...I have to see what you all are talking about. I haven't been to Camden Yards since the late 90's when the team had Davey Johnson as manager and Cal Ripken Jr. was still playing. Heck I haven't been to Ravens stadium (or M&T Bank haha).

Department 56 Villages, Christmas in the City

This is a link to buy a replica of the Baltimore Arts Tower (Bromo Seltzer Tower) if anyone is interested.

At this point, I am embarrassed for you. I am sure there is a splendid panorama of Arundel Mills Mall hanging above your mantle.

By the way, did you figure out how to add to your own reputation, Bawlmer. Your numbers seems to have more than doubled in the last couple of weeks.
Hey you're right! Haven't figured that out yet, but you got me thinking now.
BTW, I didn't mean to imply that only people from Chicago found the Bromo Seltzer ridiculous. Just so happened my friends did.
Wouldn't it be great if Baltimore had a great landmark like the John Hancock, Space Needle, Empire State Bldg., Independence Hall, US Capitol etc.

Apparently the National Aquarium does nothing for you as a landmark?

I'm not sure if you're serious. In case you are, no, it doesn't. It's a landmark alright, but not one of significance. Kind of like saying, turn right at the McDonalds. That's a landmark also, but not in the category of the examples I offered.

B-more doesn't have the US Capitol building, but it does have the Basilica, which was also designed by Henry Latrobe and built during the same time period.
