Default Hampden Rental resources

Hey everyone,

Once again i want to thank everyone for their continued feedback on these posts. You are a vital resoruce to those of us looking to join the Baltimore community. Through your guys' help and much research we have decided to move to the Hampden area. However, does anyone know of additional resources for finding rentals in the area. Obviously craigslist is a help, but there are limited rentals in hampden at this time. The Baltimore Sun is limited as well. It seems a good chunk of people say beautiful home "Hampden Area" but looking at the map they are not really "in" hampden. I have been directed to some great sites that list properties in certain areas like Bolton Hill, Mt Vernon and Patterson Park respectively boltonhill.org > Neighborhood and Mount Vernon—Belvedere Association | Living in Mount Vernon and http://ppcdc.org/Portals/_default/Sk...aspx...However, I have been unable to locate similiar sites for Hampden, more specifically the area between Hickory Ave to the West, Keswick Rd to the East, union to the North and maybe 33rd to the south? Any thoughts, as always, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Everybody!!

Try the Baltimore City Paper online. The new edition comes out on Wednesdays.

Also, if you go here:

Live in Baltimore - Hampden

and scroll down to the bottom, you'll find more online resources for Hampden. Good luck in your search!!

Bye---
Hampden actually goes up to 40th/41st Street depending on your exact location. And many people consider Medfield part of Hampden. While City Paper has some ads for rental properties, the Sun has few. I recommend looking at the listings online on, jeez, I'm not sure I'm allowed to mention the site here, but typing in Baltimore, Hampden, rentals, etc., should get you something good.

Lumerian Feast will become famous soon enough
It can be a little tough finding a rental in Hampden -- there aren't all that many apartments, as people more frequently rent an entire rowhouse. If you're looking in the paper, be sure to look under "House Rental," not just "Apartment Rental."
