I nominate Arcos on Broadway. They have an unbelievable courtyard and great food. Great for parties.

Jose Ruiz. Definitely, nicest guy you ever want to meet. Well spoken, fluent in Spanish, English, and Spanglish. He usually hangs out near this really great Mexican Restaurant--it has the most delicious dishes, from white-wine and caper cream sauce salmon dishes inspired from Spain, the most authentic of "down-home" mexican recipes like enchiladas and amazing tamales (and the chef's have come up with exotic tamale pairings like Avocado and veal), as wel as huge portioned tex-mex dishes like fajitas...most dishes range from 8-12$, and they have $1 tapas menu for appetizers....I'm not sure what that place is called, but if you can find it, Jose works at the camera shop across the corner, I think he may actually be the owner. If you meet him tell him I said hi.

You may want to check out Mari Luna in Pikesville. I don't think you'll need a reservation but it does appear to get crowded at times.
