Default I need Help..... relocating to Baltimore

Hello everyone I am relocating to Baltimore. My office building at lord Baltimore drive 21244 . I would like to rent apt at Ellicott city-21043 or cockeysville-21030, i would like to know the bus routes and other public transportation services . Where should I start and where should I avoid? Any and all help is most appreciated!!

I don't think you're going to find any convenient public transportation that would take you from Ellicott City or Cockeysville to the western 'burbs. From Cockeysville, you might be able to take the light rail to downtown and then transfer to the 15, 40, or 20 bus line to Security Square Mall, but that would be a lengthy trip and you might still have to walk depending on where your office is located.

If you don't drive or don't like to drive, I'd suggested finding something closer to where you work.

I second rudy-d. Commuting via public transport to where you are working will be a several hour a day nightmare.

Maryland MTA has a PDF map and route schedule for all of the buses and the light rail train system. This should help you find a route that will connect you from different neighborhoods to your work. Also, if you're looking to avoid certain areas maybe due to crime, Baltimore City Police dept has an interactive crime map on their website. Everyone seems to have different opinions about crime and certain areas, but the crime map is more factual.

there are a few apartments in Catonsville that are on the bus line. its a great town too.
