Default Moving from Puerto Rico to Baltimore

Hi,

I'm planning to do an MBA next year. I wanna know which university in Baltimore o even Maryland has the best MBA program? How is the city in terms of cost of living compared to other cities in general?. How good are the job opportunities in the marketing/advertising industry? Any advice would be great.

Baltimore is not as inexpensive as one would think, but in general it's not too bad. It's cheaper to live here than New York, DC, Boston, or San Francisco.

Schools to look at for MBA programs are Loyola, Johns Hopkins, Towson/University of Baltimore. I personally recommend Loyola, they have an excellent business school.

The Robert H. Smith business school at the Univ of Maryland is one of the top-ranked schools in the country. The Carey school at Hopkins has a new dean and has its eyes on becoming an elite business school to match its reputation in other fields, and they have the money to do it. Loyola also has a good local reputation.

Um, I am curious......you're moving from Puerto Rico to Baltimore, and not even sure you're going to go to what school? Shoudn't you get into a school first, then move close to there? Or are you coming to work first or what. I'm just puzzled.
