Default HELP..Which Burbs to Live-Baltimore..

Hi all..my wife has a job in North Baltimore and were going to be moving there soon. We are in our early 50's and are looking for quiet, safe and roomy type of housing. Nice yard, quiet neighborhoods, woodsy type of setting. A commute no longer than 30 minutes would be great. By researching Ive come up with Pikesville, Parkville, Towson, Timonium/Lutherville,Cockeysville, Hunt Valley, Owings Mills. Anyothers would be appreciated or ones Ive listed, maybe a comment..Thanks

Posting the same question is unlikely to bring many results. All the areas you mention have been discussed repeatedly. Do a search. Beyond that, only you will know what your needs are. Drive around and look.

Default Consider Mount Washington

Mount Washington in North/Northwest Baltimore City might be ideal for you. It's a quiet, safe city neighborhood that is convenient to many areas of the city. Try searching around the Baltimore forum for more information on the neighborhood.

johnken, I am not in the same exact boat our in, but close enough. I want to rent a year or 2 before investing in a house here.

I have been doing research for the last few weeks and will be driving up there from FL in 2 weeks to explore. the top 2 towns on my list are Catonsville and Pikesville.
