I'm likely to relocate to work for a company in the Halethorpe/ South Baltimore area (21227 zip). Any suggestions on a safe area to raise a child? Don't mind driving up 30 min for work. I'm hoping to buy a house in the next 6 months.

The 21227 zip code is Baltimore County. It is extremely close to Anne Arundel and Howard Counties. I live in Anne Arundel County and I wish that I would have bought a house in Howard County. Howard County is known for its school system and kids programs. Anne Arundel County has a decent school system, but there are certain HS that aren't pleasant.
