Default Neighborhoods

I'm moving to Baltimore, and I've had a chance to look around. I have two kids (one special needs), and have grown to like Homeland, Gardenville, Lauraville and Hamilton. Does anyone else live out this way? I'd love to hear more about these areas. I'm wondering if there is a good school in the area for Special Needs (PTSD/bipolar/OCD) kids. I'd also like to know anything else about these neighborhoods.

Thanks,

Brillig

Get as far out of the city as possible. I think all those are inside city limits, but in what I think of as nice older areas of the city. Possible to get cheaper houses, but, schools are bad, bad, bad.Try to get as close to or out of the city into Baltimore County and your kids will have lots more school options.
