Default Cab Fair

How much is a cab ride from say the Inner Harbor to the Mt. Washington area. I moving to Mt. Washington and wanted to see how much it cost. I'd prefer taxi over metro I think.

Don't be a woos!

Ride the rail-frankly, it's safer, Baltimore cabs are very badly maintained.

I would imagine that it would cost somewhere around 8 or 9 during rush hour.

Speaking of rail. I tried to get a hold of the metro system in Baltimore and it confused me(I've never lived in a city before). I looked at the Light Rail and then the Metro and it still confused me as to where I connect. I am sure I will get the hang once I am actually in Baltimore and using it.

Default Cab Fair

I live in North Baltimore City by Cross Keys and Mount Washington and I pay around 20 bucks for a cab ride down to the end of 83. I'd say 25 bucks from Mt. Washington to the Inner Harbor. The light rail is $3.20 for a round trip. There is a stop up in Mt. Washington.

You're not the first one to ask where the Metro and Light Rail connect. The reality is that they don't physically connect!! That's right, unlike just about every other transit system in the world, our two rail lines do not physically connect. However, the Lexington Market Subway and Light Rail Stations are within a couple hundred yards of each other, so you can easily transfer at Lexington Market. The State Center Metro Station and the Cultural Center Light Rail station are also within a few blocks of each other so you can easily transfer at those stations as well.
