check the college shuttlees. probably better than mta , though some routes in mta may be decent? I haven't ridden the mta to my knowledge ever so donnow.

have you asked any of the questions you are asking here to the school?
found the campus caravan. sounds awesome! assuming it's good service. a chauffer for all times other than really late at night. I'm assuming my link is for the right University lol.

also try Greektown for Greek. interestingly there aren't a lot of Polish/Russian Places. there is a small carribbean concentration in balt. nigerian as well in the city?

here's the collegetown shuttle. I'm assuming not just for undergrads. don't think it stops at your school, but it stops at MICA which I think is nearby.

Baltimore Collegetown: Ride the Shuttle

also the collegetown link is good for other questions. basically geared for the new baltimore area student.

baltimore is also known for pit beef. there is a concentration in pulaski hwy i believe. holes in the wall. try chaps pit beef. there's also pioneer pit beer which I believe is just outside of bmore.

a chicken box is another baltimore thing. never had it. i think it's 2 pieces of fried chicken with half-and-half (known as an arnold palmer).

mt vernon as well as fells pt are where the largest restaurant concentrations are.

the actual city of balt I don't think is much for chinese food. i bet ellicott city and other burbs have better. there's a new place Grace Garden in Odenton (liked by the foodies) around a half hr drive though. supposedly the chef is into what he doesw and serves real (not americanized) chinese food upon request.

andy nelson's pit bbq about a half hr drive is very good bbq.

peach cake is a baltimoer thing too. wonder if lex mkt has it?

oh yes the inner harbor is not the place for good restaurants in general.

Mama's on the Half Shell in Canton go here for seafood.

Does anyone know if in terms of country radio, the Baltimore area can pick up WYRE out of Annapolis, WMZQ from Washington, D.C. or WFRE (Frederick)? I've done a search online and it seems WPOC is the only country station based in Baltimore. Is there a major market for country in area, big enough to possibly warrant a second station in upcoming years? It would be nice to have separate stations devoted to traditional and modern country for example.

I'm curious because music reflects somewhat on the culture and vibe of a region. Is it common in Baltimore or its suburbs to hear modern country playing in grocery stores, malls and restaurants? Down near DC it seems to be increasing. Excluding recent immigrants and the inner city communities, is country music's popularity widespread?
