Question Avoiding the Tunnel

I will be traveling north on 95 from D.C to Wilmington DE and I will have a rider who doesn't want to go through tunnels. What is the best way around Baltimore without going through the tunnel.
Thanks

Key Bridge! Just take 695 east before you get to Baltimore, it's a $2 toll each way on the north side of the bridge, traffic is generally lighter than the west side, and 695 catches back up to 95 on the northeast side.

You can always go through the city, but depending on traffic conditions you may add quite a lot of time into your travel. Outside of rush hour traffic, I've done it in about 25-35 minutes (because of all the lights).

1) Exit 53 (I-395) into the city off I-95
2) I-395 becomes South Howard
3) Right onto Pratt St. and take all the way down (about alittle over 1 mile)
4) Right onto South President St (~500 ft)
5) Left onto Eastern Ave and take that all the way till merge ramps for I-95 (probably about 4 miles)

Tell them to put on their man boots and stop whining. the tunnel is not going to explode forcing is all to drown. Or you can do like I did one night and fly through it at 150 mph.
