I need to get from Baltimore to Gettysburg, PA. Is there any means of public transportation that can do that. I do not have a car available, is there any way to do it by train or bus or anything?

I actually looked into that and the news is bad. The closest Amtrak station is in Harrisburg and I heard the college in Gettysburg sometimes provides a shuttle service to it. It is weird how there is no bus service that I know of that goes to Gettysburg. I could be wrong though and would love to find out if there is a way to get there on public transit. Hopefully someone else may know better. |

You might be able to find a ride with a tour company that offers bus trips to the battlefields. It probably wouldn't be very flexible, though. You might also be able to take Greyhound to York and then try to find a shuttle or cab company.
