Default My walk in Owings Mills

The intrepid Setting Sun Walkers ventured today to Owings Mills to scout the new site of the Irvine Nature Center on Garrison Forest Road. We usually try to do walks that last an hour and a half. By developing our own trails by extending the existing ones, we were able to do so. Overall, the new site, just like the previous one on Greenspring Avenue, has very short trails.
An example is the wow. It is a stroll of a few hundred yards to an overlook that reveals a breathtaking vista of Caves Valley. The meadow below was so beautiful that we decided to walk around. Very nice.
The center's building is very classy. Big gift shop for those who are interested in anything from nature books to bird feed.
We continued to Famous Dave's on Owings Mills Boulevard. It is a barbecue place that is not only popular but very good. Recommended.
