Hi. Just wondering if anybody knows of these hotels/motels in these areas? The reviews basically seem to be OK. We are basically looking for a place to sleep, as we will be doing activiteis during the day. We are looking for a SAFE area. I already wrote in about safe areas to stay in baltimore, and got some great info. Here is a few hotels, I am looking at:
Days Inn West Security Blvd Motel
1660 Whitehead Ct, Baltimore, MD 21207
Ramada Limited Baltimore
6422 Baltimore National Pkwy, Baltimore, MD...
Days Inn Baltimore
5701 Baltimore National Pike, Baltimore, MD
I appreciate any info you can give me!! Also, are there any water parks in Baltimore or swim areas?
Thanks again for the info!!

First... where will you be doing your activities? ....
Second... Do you have a rental car?
None of the locations are in areas where vistors mostly travel. If you tell me where you are planning your activities, then I could probably tell you if the stay is worth it.

Hi. Thanks for Your reply!! We will be driving to Baltimore. We would like to go to the inner harbor, aquarium, zoo, baseball game, etc... we are looking for something not too expensive, but in a nice decent location, not looking for too much luxury, basically a place to sleep. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. It doesn't have to be real close to these sites, just a decent location.
Thanks Again for your Time!!

OK... All of the hotel locations are far from the places where you would like to visit. However, with GOOD DIRECTIONS you can get there... Just don't get lost.
The security blvd and Baltimore National Pike locations are close to a mall, several strip malls, and movie theater. It is the county (suburbs) but very urban. I would rate safety a 6 out of 10 with 10 being Most Safe.
Eveything on your activity list is Downtown/Inner Harbor except for the zoo. Try to see if you can find something down there. However, you will save on parking because all parking at hotels downtown... you have to pay. On the outskirts, it's usually free parking.
No.. there are no swiming places in Baltimore. There is Six Flags Amusement park but that's about 1-1 1/2 hrs away.
If you have anymore questions, just ask away

Did you check the holiday Inn and Days Inn downtown?
I'll ask around for you. Out of them all... my vote would probably be the security blvd location. It looks clean from the outside and it's not on a too busy road

If you stay by the airport you're close to nothing but roadway and conference centers. However, it will be a straight shot (on the highway) to your activity locations without the hassle of getting lost and turning into the wrong neighborhood.

Priceline
I currently live in Baltimore (looking to leave soon!). When I was a tourist I would priceline rooms by the airport. I was never disappointed and it is an easy drive into the city. I never paid more than $50 per night. The location/properties you found made me cringe. There is nothing quite like Baltimore. You must be cautious at all times. Do not stray from tourist areas and you will be fine.
