I am buying a home in Wicomico County Md and i want to find the previous purchase history. I found the Assessment and taxation record but not certain if i am understanding fully. Please help me. I want to see how much the home was brought for and the lein left on it.

Start with this. Punch in Wicomico, and the address. You can also get any sales history by using that function. It only covers perhaps ten years but is better than nothing.

There's a better source. Go to mdlandrec.net and apply for a user name and password. It is a public (state government) database that allows you to access all land records, including deed, mortgage, note, etc.
