Default Need help with hotels

I will be in town July 22-25 for a soccer event (Ac Milan vs Chelsea). I will be travelling with a female friend. Were is the safest place for 2 females to stay hotel wise. The game is going to be played at M and T stadium. I am looking for something under 200 a night but also in a decent area.

Thanks for all your help.

Any of the hotels in the downtown area are fine.

Agreed, check out three and four star hotels in downtown Baltimore on Hotwire.com and you should be able to find a nice hotel close to the stadium for a good price. Anything down near the harbor or stadium area is safe.

Priceline any of the four star inner harbor hotels, they are all nice and well located. You should be able to get one via name your own price for around $100-130. Before we moved here we did it several times and always got a four star room in that price range. The nicest places are the Hyatt and the Waterfront Marriott in my opinion, but they are all fine. Parking is a rip-off though and adds $20 or 30 to the cost so just be aware of that if driving. The 3.5 star ones should be okay too, although I'm not 100% sure all the hotels that fall under that category.

Hey that is awesome. I bought mine the second ticketmaster opened. Where you located in the stadium?

Does anyone have any input on the Hampton Inn at Camden Yards?

If I stay in the inner harbor should I walk, drive, or take public transit (if available) to the stadium?

Thanks for all your suggestions. I am def thinking about priceline.

The Hampton Inn is fine. From any hotel in the Inner Harbor/downtown area, walking is the option.

The Hampton Inn is very nice. You could easily catch a cab for under $10 or walk (about 20 minutes). Don't drive--you'd end up paying more for parking than a cab would run you.

I use tripadvisor to find hotels and B&Bs.

List of B&Bs:
Baltimore Accommodations: Read Reviews for Inns and B&Bs in Baltimore - TripAdvisor

Hotels:
Baltimore Hotels: Read Baltimore Hotel Reviews and Compare Prices - TripAdvisor

They are throughout the city so if you have questions about different areas then let us know.

The Scarborough Fair Bed & Breakfast looks cool. Maybe out of your price range but you do get breakfast
Baltimore Bed and Breakfast, Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel, Baltimore Lodging

The Abacrombie Fine Food & Accommodations lodging and dining in the heart of the Baltimore Cultural Center doesn't look bad either.

Thanks everybody for the help! I am going to stay in the inner harbor. I am Italian and have heard that Little Italy is amazing. What are the best places to eat in Little Italy? I am not talking white tablecloth places but little pizza or mom and pop shops with lots of atmosphere?
