Question Overnight parking in Baltimore for the week-end?

All,

Is ther any garage (or anyplace) where I can park the car over night (friday evening to sunday) where I can safely park my car and not worry about it? Any place in and around baltimore is fine.
Also how much should I expect to pay ?

Thanks, Germantown_girl

Park up behind the Farm store on 36th St., hon. I passed out there for weeks at a time and no one cared. You'll be fine.

Seriously, where are you staying? Most decent hotels have garages or parking services that are just fine. There are plenty of garages downtown. They're all as secure as any other parking garage. If you're staying in a residential neighborhood, just park on the street and don't leave anything of value in view. You'll be fine, as long as the neighborhood doesn't require a parking permit.

You'll generally pay about $18 for 24 hours. There are garages all over downtown. They tend to get a little cheaper a few blocks away from the harbor. There's nothing to worry about as long as you don't leave anything that could possibly be of value in sight, which is true anywhere. Like LF said, if you park in a residential neighborhood make sure to read the signs closely because you will be ticketed if it's permit restricted. If the O's are in town, as they are this weekend, definitely don't park on the street in the neighborhoods near the stadium because you will be towed.

If she is from out-of-state, should she care about being ticketed? I'd like to know, because I'm driving in next week, and scofflawitis is a Chicago malady.
