Question Looking to buy a house Gwynn Oak/Woodlawn Cemetary

. We are a 20 something couple looking to buy a home preferably town/detached. We really liked a house that is in Gwynn Oak close to the Woodlawn Cemetery. Is Gwynn Oak a safe area?

We work in Baltimore downtown and are looking for places that are 30-40 mins max away from work

Any suggestions about other areas would be really helpful. Appreciate your help.

Yes I live in this neighborhood.

I just said this on another thread but I'm alone most of the time, have an infant son and dog. I've never had any problems in this area and everyone has been extremely nice to me and my family. It's really convienant to downtown as well. Plus we have sooo much more house for the money.

I think you should post in the Maryland forum. Also, YES Gwynn Oak is safe. It's a low key neighborhood and there are some great ppl living there. The two ppl I know who live in Gwynn Oak (Baltimore County area) are a Doctor, my classmate's mom (lawyer) and a former teacher. It's not a "hyped" though.
