Default Baltimore, Fells Point, Dundalk, Sparrows Point Photographs and Stories

From Pup to Pro Photographer: My Portfolio

45 Years of photographs and paragraphs from the life and adventures of a former Rock n' Roll kid from the Dundalk suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland who is an ex-Maine Bear Hunting Guide, and a county women's delight, a former US Army Photographer who later enjoyed times as a hitchhiking Hippie Type Hobo. And is now a widely known and well appreciated photographer and writer on the World Wide Web.

To enjoy my substantial photography portfolio and entertaining stories about the photos on Flickr, where it's all free for your viewing pleasures, simply web search two words, my screen name -- ursusdave + flickr.

And here's a dozen of 'um:

I can't figure out why I couldn't figure out how to put a link on my first post on this thread. And why I can't edit it.

Never mind, here's From Pup to Pro Photographer: My Portfolio.

Too bad Dundalk has always been given much negativity. Mainly, it was heavily industrialized and blue collar. Sadly with much the large corperations either moving or closing Dundalk has suffered. However. many of the old neighborhoods were built by the same developer of the much affluent Roland Park. I have seen many generations flee Dundalk to areas such as Perry Hall, Bel-Air, Jarrettsville and PA. A lot of investment landlords came in and thus the downfall of many neighborhoods. On the bright side there is much waterfront property and it is time for Baltimore county to promote this one aspect. The eastide needs revitalization. I have seen so much of Baltimore County built up like White Marsh and Owings Mills. Now its time for Essex, Middle River and Dundalk.
