re: Cross/Hamburg - My wife and I did a drive-thru at night when we were thinking about moving into Pigtown. That intersection (especially the 1100 bloc k of Carroll) scared the sh*t out of us.
There were a number of corner crews and other... workers on the road. In addition there was a man blasting his boombox in the middle of the road (1:00am on a Friday night)
For the most part, Pigtown seemed like a quite neighborhood (even if it was rough around the edges) but, that intersection was quite horrible (at least a year ago it was).
