Is it possible to buy a SFH in catonsville around $275K?
We are renting in the catonsville area just outside of howard county, near Patapsco state park, love it! Anyway, we are ready to buy and are looking for a SFH around here. The reality has already hit us that taxes over in Ho Co are out of our price range and thats ok. So far we have given up on the area and are thinking of moving down to southern md to get the size house we need for a price we can afford. We have 5 kids so space is an issue and we really dont want a townhouse. DH works in DC so going north of catonsville is not really an option since his commute is already long.
I just want to give it one more try to stay in this area but i dont want to settle on a fixer upper either. Is it worth the time looking for a decent SFH in the $250-$275K range in catonsville area? Any leads or suggestions are greatly appreciated, TIA
