Default Timonium to Lansdowne I- 695 East or West

Hi I have a meeting in Lansdowne which I need to be @ by 8:00 am. I live in Timonium and work in PA so I don't normally deal with the Baltimore rush hour traffic. I wanted to know if it would be better to take take 695E or 695W. Will I actually save time avoiding all the I-70 and 795 traffic by going east?

Thanks

I used to live in Lansdowne and always went around the west side of town to get to Timonium. I never took the tunnel or went up the east side. Neither way will be a breeze, but I'd take the west side and save the tunnel tolls.

FWIW: If you like crabcakes, try having lunch at Snyder's Willow Grove, amazingly good food, just down Hammonds Ferry Road where it cross the river into Linthicum, not more than one mile from Lansdowne.
