I hate to see my Baltimore acknowledged as a glorified pub-crawl. It has more class and history than that.

Well, I've continued to look and try new places. Thai Landing was nasty. Owl Bar and 13th Floor were more of the same. People sitting in quiet and drinking. Grand Central was okay, but a lot more laid back than I expected.

Meli, and Adela in Fells are places I've found myself a lot lately, and I like both a lot. Didn't know they were partners until my 2nd visit. Figures.

Talara was good too. Nice staff, good service, and great ceviche. The hot dishes were overcooked, but the raw stuff was awesome. Great quality, and recipes.

Pazo is attracting an ever growing population of d-bags causing trouble, so I'm limiting my visits to earlier in the night.

The Wine Market on Fort Ave in South Baltimore (down towards Fort McHenry) is pretty classy.

I agree - forgot about that one. Very nice place, and a great wine selection - you can choose from whatever they have for sale in the off-premises store to drink with your meal for the retail price and a small corkage fee (about $9 last time I checked).

This new place may be up your alley. I'll stick to pubs.

That's EXACTLY what it is. More class? History, I'll give you that, but class? That's a stretch.

Agreed. After another weekend of trying to find nice things to do I've just decided to lower my standards.

Let's see. You could go to Canton Square and drink. Oh wait, did that last weekend. Then you can go to Fed Hill and hit the bars. Dang, that was the weekend before. How about Fells Pt.? I heard there's some great bars there.
