Default Where to stay when visiting Baltimore

We are planning a family vacation and are flying into BWI. I would like to visit the Inner Harbor area one day and DC one day. My question is where would be the best central location for both? Stay in the Inner Harbor area or BWI area or is there a better place? Looking for a place that has easy transportation to these areas.

Staying at a hotel at BWI is your best bet for central location to DC and the Inner Harbor. Plenty of hotels to choose from; 20 minute drive to Inner Harbor; 25-30 minute drive to DC. 295 North Takes you into Baltimore. 295 to New York Avenue takes to right into D.C. You can't get lost.

Good Luck

Default Best way to travel

Thanks Dorado,
Is it better to rent a car or take public transportation ( train, subway)?
