You and I will have to drag that moose out for 12 miles.
Maybe Obama can invent an electric truck with all the left over parts from the thousands of Chevrolet Volts they'll never sell. That will drag out your moose 12 miles though you may have to spend a day solar charging the thing to go 12 miles.

Back in 1986 I was the training director for the Maine Professional Guides Association. I was the first Registered Maine Guide to guide with a sled dog team. It was a different association back then. There was a time when Trout Unlimited was about improving opportunities to fish for trout; when Ducks Unlimited was about improving opportunities to hunt ducks and most guides loved the land and were proud to show people how to enjoy it.

Many guides still do, but their organization has been taken from them just as other organizations have been. Some are dispirited. We need to be active and take back what is ours.
