Little point in arguing...aside from the fact that I have never before heard of a cop coming to someone's house to tell them that someone else said that he/she 'went through a stop sign' (an accusation of a civil infraction based on hearsay?), the poster is apparently unaware that the OP made only two posts, four years ago, and has not been seen since.

If it was a school crossing guard that reported the alleged incident to the police, I think it's possible that an officer could have paid the person a visit. The crossing guard wasn't in a position to jump in a police car to chase the person down and and give the person a ticket.

godmylove says he/she is writing for the OP (yet screeching at the rest of us)--the Indian man so he will know what to expect--I agree with you on one thing; the OP was four years ago and the OP probably made a decision to move or not move a long time ago without the current "advice." The OP could be living happily in Maine. The OP seemed friendly. Your choice of the word "arguing" is making me smile. When someone wants to talk about something, they usually call it discussing or debating. no offense--I seem to remember you having a few discussions/arguments from time to time.

Zymer's fault. He's the troll bait. Says so in his status. Good bait; draws them right in.

'Argue' does not necessarily have a negative connotation, though I did think I might have sensed just a tiny bit of contentiousness in this case. LOL, I had started a post that could have been construed as arguing (in the negative sense) but after a bit I decided that it wasn't worth the effort as I had some serious doubts, not just about the story, but the teller's ability to recognize and appreciate my efforts.

The crossing guard stands accused of narcking on her only because she "stares at her with hate every time she drives by." Wow.

And yes, I *do* enjoy a good argument from time to time. Unfortunately, the rules of this forum frequently prevent me from exercising that enjoyment to its fullest and delivering my best arguments in the appropriate manner.

I'm just recognizing my apparent function at this point in time.
