If you are traveling from Timbuktu, namely Montauk, NY or Upstate NY then it would not be cost effective and you would be correct, however, those within the five boroughs and close proximities, especially those traveling in groups sharing expenses, gas is also cheaper on the turnpike, it's a no brainer.

Tickets going as cheap as 35 BUCKS for upper deck seats on StubHub for tonight's game 5 in St. Pete. Amazing...

I'm not even a Rays or Rangers fan, but if I lived down there, for 35 bucks, I would go watch a game 5 playoff game.

Tickets on StubHub for game 1 of the NLCS in Philly on Saturday start at $173 (for standing room) and go up to $6000.

lol, I don't know either but it's pretty funny. I think I went to grade school with a guy who would eat that for a dollar.

Orioles fans are just annoying in my opinion.
Orioles and RedSox Fans are the 2 worst in my opinion.

I did go to a marlins game a few months ago...
I seriously doubt Two thousand people was at this game...

So I guess I'll add them for not even bothering to show up.....lol
Though I did get to move/sneak into the first row...
