Go Braves! ( I know they're not a favorite, but they can tolerate him for 2 months!?)

I'm a Mets fan...so I can go along with you on that one. Yes, by all means, allow Manny to fester on one of our division rivals' roster.

Pie/Reimold -- Jones/Patterson -- Nick the Stick

Plus the best hitters Luke and Wiggy sharing 1b/DH.

No thanks in Baltimore.

I don't think any National League team will want him, especially if he insists on a contract extension. (Without the extension it would be okay, because in September a part-time player fits on the roster.) If he has to play in the outfield, he can only play a few times/week. Maybe as a DH he won't be so tired and can play almost every day.

Manny is a con man. He will do what he did with the Dodgers, be a super star for a month, and then negotiate a new, multi million dollar contract. After the contract is signed, he goes on vacation for a couple of years, and never has a good at-bat again.. It's worked so far, why work when you can sit on the bench and make good money....?

What did the Dodgers get? It is rather more like what did they get rid of, and that is a large pain the rear end.

I read yesterday on Yahoo! that he was only speaking Spanish and there was an issue with his hair. I can't see Ozzie tolerating his nonsense very long.

Hmm, Manny and Ozzie, had not thought of that. This could be fun to watch.
