Son of a....This reeks of Kenny Williams. If we give up anything for this clown...especially since we are virtually buried in the race right now the way the Twins are playing. JUST SAY NO KENNY

I don't see any significant compensation, he is likely to be waived by the Dodgers. He collects another $1.1 million this season, plus has a little more than $3 million in deferred compensation.

Low level prospect, if anything at all.

Seriously, a AA player and maybe cash.

ESPN is saying the White Sox will pick him up when he's placed on waivers.

I hope not; he'll poison a good team.

What a surprise! The Dodger front office must house the only people on the continent who couldn't have seen this coming.

Maybe there's something in the air out there in Los Angeles. I know I'll never forget the bubbling commentary by Tommy Lasorda when they signed Darryl Strawberry. He said, and I quote, "It's better than an orgasm!" And just take a quick peek at the Baseball Encyclopedia to see what heroics Strawberry performed in L.A.

I don't think it is a trade, isn't it just waiving him outright? I think this is a case of addition by subtraction for the Dodgers. Manny Ramirez has not been the same since his suspension for roids and IMO the Dodgers traded the wrong person this past off season when they traded Juan Pierre. As a Dodger fan, I can't wait to see Manny Ramirez gone.
