Hey I watched the Super Friends too....but I kinda remember the Super Friends being big before the Smurfs were even around....

Apache Chief could kick all the Smurfs and Care Bears arses at once...

The thing about the Super Friends was that there were so many versions, so they were around before the Smurfs, but one of their big comebacks was right around the same time. They had tremendous staying power.

Unfortunately, around the same time as the Smurfs we were also "treated" to The Kid Super Power Hour (Later The Kid Super Power Hour with Shazam). Not good.

Anyhow...Aubrey Huff seems to be enjoying being in his first pennant race. Hits a HR for the Giants in San Diego today, hell of a long shot to straight away CF.

Nice to see someone so excited after all his years in the majors.

Last time I checked, three teams still have a chance to win that thing. It's not like there's no race going on there; in fact, it's one of the better races in all of baseball right now. You've got the Rockies, Giants, and Padres all within 2 1/2 games of one another. The division isn't really that bad. There are three teams who are solidly over .500. The Rockies have won eight in a row up until now.

If the Braves lost 10 games in a row guess where the Phillies would be?
Somehow your obsession with the Phillies finds its way into a conversation about the NL West

Because the Padres, Rockies, and Giants don't have enough offense to challenge the Phillies in Oct

This thread is about the NL West, not the Phillies. You claim you hate them, why are you so damn obsessed with them?
