Lincecum vs Lee...so of course it winds up an 11-7 game.

I bet that he lost track of who was where or how many runners were on base.

Doesn't matter.

Lincecum was the better pitcher.

All those Phiten necklaces we are seeing are unpleasant reminders that MLB is stocked with some not too terribly bright people.

If you did not know, everything claimed for these devices is nothing more than claims made by the company which makes them. The claptrap being advanced is that athletic exertion causes a disruption in the smooth flow of the body's electrical communications. The necklaces impart a low dose of magnetic titanium which allegedly stablizes the flow and smooths it out.

There is no scientific data which supports this and the magnets found in the necklaces are far too small to have any sort of impact on the electro chemical structure of the human body. It is 100 % hooey and superstition.

I suppose that if one becomes persuaded that the necklace is restoring some state of harmonious electrical flow, than there is a psychological boost in confidence. That would be the only sense in which these things "worked." However, becoming persuaded requires ignorance. I bet that they would have been a huge hit back in the '70's when you had large segments of the population falling for things like Rolfing, EST, I-Ching, mood rings, pretty much any neo nonsense which was marketed as "alternative."

If Kinsler had consumed one more Wheatie flake this morning, it would have been 1-0 Texas.

And if C.J. Wilson was wearing just one more necklace, Renteria's drive would have never made it into the stands.
