Superb pitching tonight on ESPN as the Rangers shut out the White Sox, 5-0, taking two of three to start the year, behind home runs from David Murphy, Adrian Beltre, and Josh Hamilton.
Rangers going ballistic in Yu Darvish's first [and shaky] start in the Majors. He gave up 5 runs in the first two IP but Texas answered with 2 in the first, 3 in the third behind Nelson Cruz's 3-run HR, and 3 more in the fourth behind a 2-run homer from Moreland (good to see!) and a solo shot from Josh Hamilton.
Neftali Feliz making his starting debut tonight against Blake Beavan.
Good news for the Rangers. They're still averaging over 46,000 fans a game this season. I imagine the number was still over 42,000 last night to see Yu Darvish pitch.
Feliz looked really good, better than what I thought he would, given his first start of the season. 0.00 ERA is always a good thing!
