I think I'm jealous, probably because I can't imagine quitting my job to do that.

Cool story and classy treatment by the Rays! I hope he does end up with a baseball job.

Maybe the most amazing thing about this feat is that his bike never got stolen outside the ballparks.

If he does it will trigger a number of similar stunts by people dreaming of front office jobs. Someone will wheelchair to all 30 parks, or pogostick to all 30 parks, or parachute into and get arrested at all 30 parks.
I've got an idea. Anyone want to join me in an attempt to get thrown out of all 30 parks in one season? The real challenge will be to make it for a different reason in each ballyard. We're tossed for interfering with a ball in play in one place, for throwing stuff onto the field in another, for jumping out of the bleachers into the outfield at another, for taking off our clothes in the stands at another and so forth.

I remember another guy doing this in 2004, and he had a website where we could follow his progress, raising money for cancer I think.

Wouldn't the arrests and jail time for public indecency and trespassing slow you down a bit?

I'd love to do this. But when I get the time [and money] I'd love to at least attend games in every park. All I can say I've done is visit the Rangers' Ballpark three time and Minute Maid Park once. (Astros/Rangers game)
