Ha, I didn't even think about how excited Yankee fans would be. We have Directv and you can watch 8 games at once, it was pretty funny to listen to the Boston announcers during the rain delay - when it was 7-2 Yankees, one of them said "I'm getting nervous about that game" and the other one said "don't worry that game is OVER" - DOH! No sooner than he said that it was 7-6. We got to watch the Cards win, the Braves lose, etc etc.
We are huge Yankee fans and even though Tampa won I am glad Boston is out. The game was very exciting and Mark Teixeira hitting 2 home runs was a bonus. Go Yankees!!
It was totally crazy! I was watching 2 games at once on the TV (PIP) and two on my Laptop! And I enjoyed every one of them (well - maybe not the CArds' win - they scare me)!
By far the most exciting evening of baseball ever!!!
can't stand baseball anymore (loved it as a kid but have come to realize all its shortcomings), but I gotta say, wouldn't it be more exciting to see the Yanks oust the Sox themselves IN THE PLAYOFFS?

perhaps, but what happened last night was truly a once in a lifetime event. Forget the month-long collapse...the sequence of events that transpired last night alone was ridiculous.
Thankfully the only spoert my husband enjoys is baseball and so do I. I cannot stand football and so can he. We are considering making plans to go to next years All Stars game.
